Laurie Rumley
Laurie Rumley PMHNP-BC (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified) offers medication management for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD (if seen in person), and trauma.
Laurie is a former Labor & Delivery nurse and Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2015. Her spouse is an Army veteran. While living in Germany, she worked at Landstuhl Military hospital with active duty soldiers and their family members. She has also worked in community mental health, and college telehealth. Laurie enjoys working with teens and adults. She blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with evidence based treatment in her prescribing practice.
Laurie graduated from Denver Seminary with a MA in Counseling in 2003 and University of Tennessee Knoxville with a MS in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in 2015. She attended Wheaton College and University of Maryland School of Nursing for her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (1992).
