Charity Richardson, LPC, EMDR II, specializes in the treatment of trauma, particularly for adults experiencing the effects of childhood trauma and other forms of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. She is also an expert on trauma resulting from narcissistic abuse and domestic violence. Charity has worked with these issues for years and has developed treatment approaches for complex posttraumatic and dissociative conditions for which she has been recognized as an expert speaker and trainer on in the state of Colorado.

Charity offers integrative and evidence-based relational treatments for clients and consultation for loved ones that involve respect, information, and hope to counter the effects of trauma and abuse.

Charity’s previous roles have included being the Director of Clinical Services for Cedar Springs Psychiatric for 3 years and the Clinical and Advocacy Director for TESSA for 5 years. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Counseling in 2008 and is highly trained in neurobehavioral disorders and the psychobiology of brain functioning.
