Nancy Siever is close to completing her MA in Counseling at the University of Colorado.  She graduated with High Distinction from Colorado State University with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies. She has spent the last 10 years providing support to individuals dealing with grief and loss issues through her career with hospice. Nancy is dedicated to helping people of all ages. One of her favorite grief support areas is helping children and teenagers deal will losses in their lives. She has recently opened and directed a community grief and loss center known as The Gathering Place in California. In addition to her work with couples at Wings of Grace she is also currently seeing children for play therapy.

Nancy is active in the Community Impact Ministry of Woodmen Valley Chapel.  This ministry is dedicated to reaching into the community and giving support to those in need. She and her husband are sponsors of the Infuse Team at Woodmen Valley Chapel. This includes meeting weekly with a group of students and providing them training in servant-based Leadership Skills. She loves the mentoring role that is included in this ministry. She and her husband have also led Parents of Teens classes for a church in California. 

One of her passions is to share God’s mercy and compassion with those in desperate need of healing. She has been involved in Bible Study Fellowship for 15 years including serving as a Children’s Supervisor and a group leader in a Women’s prison and an AIDS unit in a women’s prison hospital unit. She has held leadership positions at several Hospice organizations and gets a great deal of pleasure helping people of all ages that are dealing with death and dying issues.

Nancy and her husband enjoy getting to know Colorado Springs after being in California for many years. They are busy learning about gardening in a four season climate and exploring new areas. Nancy also is working with Bronco, their three year old yellow Labrador, in Agility training. He is getting ready for competition.
