Gayle A. Perry - MA, PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Gayle Perry is seasoned in the art of counseling and heart healing.  She has an MA in Psychology and Counseling from Trinity International Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.  She has been actively involved in many aspects of spiritual restoration and healing for the last two decades.  She integrates the truth of psychology and theology in a unique way of treating the spirit, soul, and body.

Gayle specializes in sexual issues, unresolved losses, eating disorders, midlife crises, adoption, acculturation, spiritual restoration, and identity development.  She has worked at Family Care Psychological Services and Roger's Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She was on full-time staff at Fort Wilderness Christian Camp, traveled and sang in a full-time ministry music, and has been engaged in counseling on some level most of her adult life.  She completed several Leanne Payne Pastoral Care Ministry Schools and received further training with Desert Stream, learning how to help the sexually broken come into relational wholeness.

Gayle enjoys a good laugh, a good cup of coffee, and playing with her two dogs, Java and Chai.  She has a passion for Israel and understands their relationship between cultures in their generational context.  She is married to same guy she met in 7th grade.  Thirty years later, she and Roger have developed a retreat ministry designed to restore and equip the church to stand together as authentic community in the days ahead.  They have two children:  twenty-three year old birth daughter Sharayah and fourteen year old Oscar, adopted from Guatamala.

Gayle has led many small groups within the church for those wanting healing and training in how to become authentic, mature persons.  She has a heart to bring the walking wounded to a place of full recovery of their identity through the process of suffering into righteousness.  She seeks to bring clarity to why God has allowed bad things happen to good people and bring them hope in the midst of the struggle.
