Barbara Seeds is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a Master’s Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in marriage, family and child relationships. Barbara is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists.

In the past, Barbara has worked in a residential treatment facility with adolescents and children. From 2001 – 2004, she worked at the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center, first as a volunteer counselor and later as the Director of Bridges of Hope, a ministry to post-abortive individuals. She has been in private practice for 10 years and currently works with individuals, couples and adolescents.

Her areas of emphasis include women’s issues, grief/loss, struggles with intimacy, codependency, anger, depression, anxiety and communication skills. She leads groups for anger management, codependency, and learning to set healthy emotional, mental, physical and spiritual boundaries in one’s relationships.

Barbara and her husband of 37 years have two children, a son and a daughter. She enjoys gardening, reading, walking and riding her bike. She also enjoys playing golf with her husband and taking trips to visit family, friends and “never-visited” areas around the country.
